International Projects

Life For a Child

Life for a Child (LFAC) exists – and will continue to exist – until no child dies of diabetes for want of a timely diagnosis, suitable treatment, or ongoing care. LFAC provides insulin and essential supplies to 34000 children and young people with type 1 diabetes in 44 countries worldwide, when insulin may otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable. I work as a volunteer consultant to the programme, and have made site visits to centres in Kenya and Ghana.
